Closures anticipated throughout the week near 82nd street
Indianapolis (Mar. 6, 2023) – Drivers should anticipate the overnight closure of the 82nd Street on and off ramps for I-69 southbound and lane closures on I-69 north and south this week. The closures are expected to start after 9 p.m. and end by 5 a.m. the following morning each day.
Overnight Monday – Friday: Right lane of I-69 southbound closed near 82nd Street.
Overnight Monday and Tuesday: One lane of I-69 northbound closed near the 82nd Street off-ramp.
Overnight Tuesday: 82nd Street on-ramp and off-ramp for I-69 southbound closed.
Overnight Wednesday: 82nd Street on-ramp to I-69 southbound closed.
Emergency vehicles will still be able to access closed ramps.
The closures are needed to complete barrier work and prepare for an upcoming shift in traffic at the express lane.
