INDIANAPOLIS (Sept. 15, 2022) – Pavement patching work is expected to temporarily close southbound I-69 access to Binford Boulevard after 9 p.m. on Thursday night. It is expected to reopen by early Friday morning.
Additional pavement patching work will lead to nighttime lane closures the next two weeks in the Clear Path 465 work zone. Work this weekend and next week is expected to focus on approaches to the I-465 bridges over the White River, west of Allisonville Road.
Drivers are encouraged to slow down in the area and observe the 45 mph speed limit.
East 71st Street reopen this week
The East 71st Street multi-use trail is expected to reopen to bicycle and pedestrian traffic by this Saturday.
The trail was closed to install a bicycle and pedestrian protection system. The protection system will allow the trail to remain open to bicycle and pedestrian traffic for the majority of Clear Path construction.
