INDIANAPOLIS (July 15, 2025) – A traffic pattern change is scheduled this weekend in the Clear Path 465 corridor. Several closures are expected over the weekend to allow crews to complete the traffic change.
Once the new traffic pattern is in place, drivers traveling from eastbound I-465 to southbound I-465 will be able to access the 56th Street exit ramp.
The following closures are scheduled for this weekend (weather dependent):
Friday, July 18 at 9 p.m. to Monday July 21 at 6 a.m.
- Southbound I-69 ramp to southbound I-465 closed
- 82nd Street ramp to southbound I-465 closed
- Eastbound/southbound I-465 right lane closed from main interchange to 56th Street
Actual dates and anticipated work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances occur. Drivers are encouraged to plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time during overnight hours.
Indiana Safe Zones
The Safe Zones speed control program remains active in the Clear Path construction zone. This program uses automated systems to monitor speeds in specified work zones. The goal of the program is to keep workers, drivers, and their passengers safe by reducing excessive speeding in work zones.
