INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Sept. 12, 2025) – The ramp from southbound I-69 to southbound I-465 is expected to close for four nights next week. The closure will allow Clear Path crews to demolish a bridge no longer in use on eastbound I-465.
Drivers can expect the following restrictions:
Monday, Sept. 15, Wednesday, Sept. 17, Thursday, Sept. 18, Friday, Sept. 19, Monday, Sept. 22 and Tuesday, Sept. 23
- Southbound I-69 ramp to southbound I-465 closed
- 82nd Street ramp to I-69 southbound closed
The closure is scheduled 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night

Actual dates and anticipated work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances occur. Drivers are encouraged to plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time during overnight hours.

The Safe Zones speed control program remains active in the Clear Path construction zone. This program uses automated systems to monitor speeds in specified work zones. The goal of the program is to keep workers, drivers, and their passengers safe by reducing excessive speeding in work zones.
