INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Oct. 30, 2025) – Clear Path crews are shifting traffic on the ramp from southbound I-69 to southbound I-465 to make room for additional improvements. Restrictions will be needed this weekend to prepare for the shift and to allow crews to operate safely in the area.
Drivers can expect the following closures:
Friday, Oct. 31 at 9 p.m. to Monday, Nov. 3 at 6 a.m.
- Ramp from 82nd Street to southbound I-465 closed
Friday, Oct. 31 and Saturday, Nov. 1 (9 p.m. to 6 a.m.)
- Ramp from southbound I-69 to southbound I-465 closed
Saturday, Nov. 1 and Sunday, Nov. 2 (6 a.m. to 9 p.m.)
- Ramp from southbound I-69 to southbound I-465, single lane closed
Significant delays are expected, and drivers are encouraged to plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time. Actual dates and anticipated work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances occur.

The Safe Zones speed control program remains active in the Clear Path construction zone. This program uses automated systems to monitor speeds in specified work zones. The goal of the program is to keep workers, drivers, and their passengers safe by reducing excessive speeding in work zones. It’s important to slow down in construction zones and drive without distractions.
