Reminder: Overnight lane and ramp restrictions scheduled this week on Clear Path corridor 

Overhead bridge work is scheduled this week on the Clear Path corridor in northeast Indianapolis and will require overnight lane and ramp restrictions. 

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Aug. 11, 2025) – Overhead bridge work is scheduled this week on the Clear Path corridor in northeast Indianapolis and will require overnight lane and ramp restrictions. 

The eastbound I-465 ramp to northbound I-69 is scheduled to close overnight Monday, Aug. 11, to allow crews to safely complete the work. Several other lane and ramp restrictions are scheduled overnight this week for pavement and guardrail repairs.

Here are the overnight restrictions drivers can expect: 

Monday, Aug. 11  

  • Southbound I-69 ramp to southbound Binford Boulevard closed 
  • Eastbound I-465 ramp to northbound I-69 closed 
  • Northbound Binford Boulevard closed north of 75th Street 

Tuesday, Aug. 12  

  • Northbound I-465 ramp to northbound I-69 closed (11 p.m. to 6 a.m.)
  • ​​​​​​​Corridor-wide mobile maintenance operations 

Wednesday, Aug. 13  

  • Corridor-wide mobile maintenance operations 

Closures are scheduled between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. Actual dates and anticipated work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances occur. Drivers are encouraged to plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time during overnight hours.

Indiana Safe Zones 

The Safe Zones speed control program remains active in the Clear Path construction zone. This program uses automated systems to monitor speeds in specified work zones. The goal of the program is to keep workers, drivers, and their passengers safe by reducing excessive speeding in work zones.
