Starting Friday, September 6, at 9 p.m. Clear Path crews will begin working on the I-465 West express lane. The express lane, which utilizes an old I-465 East lane was implemented to help keep traffic flowing on I-465 North and West during Clear Path construction.
Restriping, barrier movement and shifting the I-465 express lane will reduce westbound traffic to two lanes from Friday night to Saturday afternoon. Once work is completed, the express lane end point will be moved further east near the 82nd Street overpass.
It’s important to note there is still no access to I-69 or Allisonville Road from the express lane and no large trucks are permitted.
The schedule for weekend work is below, the express lane closure has been extended for an additional 24 hours.
Friday, September 6 at 9 p.m. to Saturday, September 7 at 6 a.m.
- I-465 East reduced to two lanes
Friday, September 6 at 9 p.m. to Saturday, September 7 at 8 p.m.
- I-465 West reduced to two lanes
Friday, September 6 at 9 p.m. to Sunday, September 8 at 8 p.m.
- I-465 West express lane closed
