Reminder: Clear Path 465 traffic pattern change this weekend

Significant lane and ramp closures on eastbound I-465 are expected over the weekend to allow crews to complete the traffic pattern change.

INDIANAPOLIS (June 20, 2025) – A traffic pattern change is scheduled this weekend in the Clear Path 465 corridor. Significant lane and ramp closures on eastbound I-465 are expected over the weekend to allow crews to complete the traffic switch.

Once the new traffic pattern is in place, drivers traveling on eastbound I-465 will need to choose between continuing east on I-465 or exiting to Allisonville Road earlier. The new decision point will be at White River. The traffic switch will allow crews to work in the median of I-465 and build new lanes and ramps along eastbound I-465.

The following restrictions are scheduled:

Friday, June 20 (9 p.m. to 6 a.m.)

  • Left lane closed on westbound I-465 from I-465/I-69 interchange to White River

Friday, June 20 at 9 p.m. to Monday, June 23 at 6 a.m.

  • Keystone Avenue ramps to eastbound I-465 closed
  • Eastbound I-465 ramp to Allisonville Road closed
  • Eastbound I-465 ramp to northbound I-69 closed
  • Eastbound I-465 ramp to southbound Binford Boulevard closed
  • Eastbound I-465 reduced to one lane from White River to I-69

Saturday, June 21 (9 p.m. to 6 a.m.)

  • Northbound Binford Boulevard to northbound I-69 closed at 75th Street
  • Northbound I-465 ramp to northbound I-69 left lane closed
  • Single lane open on northbound I-69 from I-465/I-69 interchange to 82nd Street

Actual dates and anticipated work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances occur. Drivers are encouraged to plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time during overnight hours.
