As a reminder, 82nd Street is scheduled to close under I-69 this week and next so crews can safely set bridge beams for the 14th and final new bridge on Clear Path 465 in northeast Indianapolis.
Final Bridge Beam Delivery
These are the final 10 of 189 bridge beams on the project. After the beams are in place, overnight closures on 82nd Street will continue into the weekend and early next week as crews continue overhead work.
Drivers can expect the following closures from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m.:
Thursday, April 16
- 82nd Street closed in both directions under I-69
Friday, April 17
- Eastbound 82nd Street closed under I-69
Saturday, April 18
- Westbound 82nd Street closed under I-69
Monday, April 20
- Eastbound 82nd Street closed under I-69
Tuesday, April 21 through Thursday, April 23
- Westbound 82nd Street closed under I-69
Emergency access will be maintained during all scheduled work. The schedule may be adjusted due to the weather or other unforeseen circumstances and is subject to change.

The Safe Zones speed control program remains active in the Clear Path construction zone. This program uses automated systems to monitor speeds in specified work zones.
