Eastbound I-465 ramp to Binford Boulevard closing for 60 days

Lane and ramp closures planned at the I-465/I-69 interchange next weekend

INDIANAPOLIS (July 3, 2025) – The eastbound I-465 ramp to Binford Boulevard is scheduled to close for up to 60 days beginning next Friday night, July 11, as part of the Clear Path 465 project on the northeast side of Indianapolis.  

The closure will allow crews to reconstruct the ramp. In addition, lane and ramp closures are scheduled for the weekend of July 11 at the I-465/I-69 interchange for crews to restripe pavement and move concrete barrier wall on Binford Boulevard.

The following closures are scheduled: 

60 day closure starting Friday, July 11 at 9 p.m. 

  • Eastbound I-465 ramp to southbound Binford Boulevard closed  

Friday, July 11 at 9 p.m. to Monday, July 14 at 6 a.m. 

  • Southbound I-69 ramp to southbound Binford Boulevard closed 
  • Northbound Binford Boulevard single lane closed

Actual dates and anticipated work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances occur. Drivers are encouraged to plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time during overnight hours.  

Safe Zones enforcement remains active in the Clear Path construction zone. The program uses automated systems to monitor speeds in specified work zones. The goal of the program is to keep workers, drivers, and their passengers safe by reducing excessive speeding and crashes in work zones.
