Needed pavement patching will mean continued impacts through next week for drivers using northbound Binford Boulevard near I-465. Crews hope to complete the work overnight on Monday, January 30. A full closure of northbound Binford will be needed.
The two northbound lanes of Binford are expected to close after 9 p.m. Monday. Northbound Binford is expected to reopen to one lane of traffic by 6 a.m. Tuesday. During the full closure, the ramp from I-465 eastbound to northbound I-69 will be open to traffic.
Drivers will be alerted after the concrete for the long-term patch has cured and Binford Boulevard is fully open to traffic. That’s expected to happen before midday Wednesday.
Currently, the right lane of northbound Binford is closed, beginning just north of 75th Street. The single lane closure will remain in place until the full closure overnight Monday and will resume until the concrete has cured.
Northbound Binford Boulevard traffic needs to stay in the left lane. Drivers can still exit I-465 eastbound to I-69 northbound.
