INDIANAPOLIS (Dec. 9, 2024) – Early Monday morning, Clear Path crews opened the 82nd Street ramps to and from I-69 South. Opening the 82nd Street ramps marks a milestone in the project that moves traffic off two old bridges and onto three new bridges and new pavement on I-69 South. Drivers should be aware of the following:
- 82nd Street Ramp to I-69 South: Drivers will only have access to I-465 South from this ramp.
- I-69 South to Binford Boulevard South: To reach Binford Boulevard South, drivers must be in the far-left lane of I-69 South before 96th Street.
Later this week, crews will begin demolition of the existing bridge over 82nd Street as part of the ongoing work to rebuild the I-69 mainline. Watch for further details in the coming days.
