INDIANAPOLIS (June 2, 2025) – 82nd Street is scheduled to close overnight this week to accommodate overhead bridge construction. 82nd Street will be closed between the southbound I-69 ramps and Shadeland Avenue. Clear Path crews will be placing bridge beams on I-69 above 82nd Street.
The ramp from westbound I-465 to Allisonville Road will remain open.
The following restrictions are scheduled, weather permitting:
Monday, June 2 and Tuesday June 3 (9 p.m. to 6 a.m.)
- Eastbound and westbound 82nd Street closed
Wednesday, June 4 and Thursday June 5 (9 p.m. to 6 a.m.)
- Eastbound 82nd Street closed
Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7 (9 p.m. to 6 a.m.)
- Westbound 82nd Street closed
Actual dates and anticipated work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances occur. Drivers are encouraged to plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time during overnight hours. Emergency vehicle access will be maintained throughout the duration of the work.
